CYC Cheer “Open Gym”

CYC Cheerleading

The CYC Cheerleading Program is designed to teach girls and boys of all ages about the sport of all-star cheerleading. We offer training from basic fundamentals to advanced skills in tumbling, stunting, jumps, and performance. Cheerleading teaches discipline, dedication, leadership, team work, and sportsmanship. We provide a positive and fun learning experience at all levels 1 through 5. Recreational cheer classes are geared to teach students the skills required at a competitive level. Each class will start with a 15 minute warmup, 10 min stretching and then do drills for tumbling, jumping, and stunting the remainder of the class.

Semi-Annual Cheer Showcase

Every six months, our Cheer department hosts a showcase for both our recreational and competitive teams. These showcases exhibit our cheerleaders greatest performances, whether it be prior to competition season, or just to show off recreational skills. More information regarding our showcases will be released during showcase season.
