Program Goal

The Strength and Conditioning program is committed to developing our members both mentally and physically. Our goal is to provide student athletes with the knowledge, motivation, confidence, and the training necessary to reach their athletic potential while minimizing the risk of injury by adequately preparing for the demands of competition. We will create a positive, encouraging, and energetic training environment conducive to the overall development of our student athletes.

Program Offerings

Classes Age Groups:

  • Ages 8-12

  • Ages 13+

Class Structure for both age groups include introduction/beginner level, and intermediate/high intensity levels of instruction based on the members capabilities. All class offerings focus on training core stabilization, and improving speed, strength, and power through a variety of drills and exercises that emphasize coordination, balance, running mechanics, and body awareness.

We strive to accomplish our goals by utilizing free weight, ground based, multi-joint movements in an environment of positive reinforcement, good communication, and constant encouragement. Prior strength training is recommended for this class, but not required.
