Program Offerings
Community Youth Center offers two age specific Academic Excellence tutoring rooms.

Little AE room works with 1st-6th grade students. By establishing relationships with our students, we help to lay an educational foundation for future classroom success. Students have access to tutors and the necessary resources to complete homework, projects, and learn time management skills in a safe and encouraging environment.

HS AE works with 7th-12th grade students. Students are able to work with our subject specific tutors and develop the skills to excel in their academics. Students set measurable academic goals, and regularly evaluate their progress towards those goals with our staff.
Internship Program – We provide high school students with the resources to create a resume and cover letter, while also assisting in future opportunities to gain experience within a field of interest.
College Prep/Career Counseling – We provide 9th-12th graders the guidance and structure to identify colleges, apply, and understand the supplemental resources they need during the process. We also help identify financial aid opportunities.
